Vesserion’s Report Card – Call of the Crusade

It looks like Patch 3.3 is going to drop tomorrow, so I decided to write myself a report card for my raiding efforts in Patch 3.2: Call of the Crusade.

First, let’s look at the content I have managed to clear.  According to Pug Checker, since September 22, 2009, I have 10 full clears of ToC 10 and 4 full clears of ToC 25.  I have no full, or even partial clears of 10 or 25 man ToGC.

Content Grade:  B –

From a gear perspective, I have 16 slots currently equipped.  Of those 16 slots, 5 are ilevel 232 items, 11 are ilevel 245 and 0 are ilevel 258.  So I finished this patch in 5/16 tier 9.0, 11/16 tier 9.25 and 0/16 tier 9.5.

Gear Grade:  B

Lastly, I think we should look at where I fall amongst my peers on the Undermine Server.  According to wow-heroes.com, I am currently the number 5 Disc Priest on my server, and the only Horde Disc Priest in the top 10.  (Alliance holds almost a 3-to-1 advantage over Horde on Undermine.)  Amongst all Priests on the server, I came in at number 20, with 7 of the top 20 being Horde.

Peer Group Grade:  A-

Combined Score:  High B

As the final sands slip through the Call of the Crusade hourglass, I feel pretty good about my personal performance as a Disc Priest.  I feel like our 10-man team did reasonably well, but ultimately we did not reach our full potential.  Same for our 25-man raid group.  What held us back in 10s was our revolving raid line up, where four people have filled our 3rd healer position over the last 12 weeks.  In 25-man raids, the issue has been filling slots 21-25, when the guild only has 2 10-man teams running current content on a regular basis.

So I give myself a high B for Patch 3.2, and am looking forward to the challenge of improving that grade in Patch 3.3.

How would you score your performance in Call of the Crusade?
